Since 2007 we have made Pamlico County our home in a restored 1900 farmhouse and we love the country style living with the access to large cities when the need arises. We both enjoy cruising the extensive, well protected local waters in our sailboat. We have embraced the communities of Pamlico County and were both active participants in the STEP (Small Towns Economic Prosperity) program in Pamlico County, a program of the NC Rural Center to support development of rural areas. Jude is past president of the Pamlico County Historical Association. She served as a member of the Pamlico County Farmer’s Market advisory board and previously worked on the board of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program in Craven County and the board of the Scottish Heritage Society of Eastern North Carolina. Brian is past president of the Scottish Heritage Society, and was a board member of the Pamlico County Chamber of Commerce. He has previously been an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America and a past president of a Kiwanis Club.

Jude previously worked six years as a REALTOR® associate in Chicago before moving to the financial investment industry where she was a corporate officer of a private brokerage firm for 10 years. Since then he has lived in California, North Carolina and Illinois as well as a five year assignment in Paris, France. Between them they have bought 14 houses and sold 11, retaining two as rental properties.
